Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
